College Guidance

American Soccer Programs provides an extensive number of services for high school soccer players who hope to continue at the intercollegiate level.  Every week at Middle States Soccer Camp there are seminars on the college selection process, including a presentation for parents at 1:00 p.m. Sunday of each camp session.  Copies of the book Secrets of Recruiting Revealed and the DVD Get Recruited:  A Guide to the College Soccer Recruiting Process will be on sale at a reduced price at camp.  There will also be an opportunity for Middle States campers to enroll at a discount in the College Counseling Service, which provides personalized guidance as well as references and direct interaction with college coaches.

College Counseling Service

American Soccer Programs offers a College Counseling Service which helps high school juniors and seniors find schools that suit their academic and athletic goals and are appropriate for their interests, abilities and financial resources.  For nearly 20 years, we have assisted numerous student-athletes in identifying and selecting colleges across the country.

The College Counseling Service is under the direction of Richard Broad, former Head Soccer Coach at George Mason University.

The cost for the service is $1,995.

"We have had a number of players that have come through American Soccer Programs College Counseling Service.  In all cases we have received a personal phone call and a thorough evaluation of the player’s strengths and weaknesses.  I trust any recommendations from this service." —Sonny Travis, Men’s Soccer Coach, Emory University
