Philly Sports

It’s a great time to be a Philly Guy. (Even though I was born and raised in nearby Wilmington, Delaware, many years of suffering with some truly abysmal sports teams has earned me membership in this unique group.) FINALLY, our football team won the Super Bowl on the 52nd try and Eagle Euphoria continues to grip the city, especially with Carson returning in good health, For the second time in three years, Villanova won the NCAA Men’s Basketball Championship, establishing The ‘Cats as possibly the top program in the country. On the hardwood, “The Process” is starting to produce positive results. Even without the second coming of Hakeem Olajawon in the person of Joel Embiid, The Sixers winning streak continues with a bunch of no names, who couldn’t beat anyone for the last 5 years. Despite their inconsistencies, The Flyers have qualified for the Stanley Cup playoffs. All is well in Philly. And even The Phillies……. Well, almost all.
